1. Software and license

Rove is a one-time personal license: one license key can be active at the same time on up to 3 Macs of the license holder and includes all 1.x updates. The license may not be resold, rented or shared publicly.

2. Purchases and reseller

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payment, taxes, invoices, and payment-related customer service and refunds.

3. Trial

Rove comes with a free 14-day trial with every feature, once per user on each Mac. When the trial ends, searching stops; the indexes you built stay on your Mac and work again once you buy or activate Rove.

4. Refunds

You can get a full refund within 30 days of purchase, for any reason; see the Refund Policy. A refunded license key stops working.

5. Disclaimer

Rove reads only the names, sizes and dates of files and folders; it does not change or upload your files. The software is provided “as is”, and to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damages from using or being unable to use it.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; significant changes will be announced on this website.
